Ruaha National Park Fees Guideline
Ruaha National Park Entry Fees
– Peak Season (July to December): Non-resident adults are charged USD 200 per day, while children and students pay USD 50 per day.
– Low Season (January to June): Non-resident adults pay USD 100 per day, with children and students remaining at USD 50 per day.
Entry Fees for Residents and Tanzanian Citizens
– Peak Season: Adults are charged TZS 30,000, and children/students TZS 10,000.
– Low Season: Adults at TZS 10,000, with children/students fees staying at TZS 10,000.
Camping Fees
For those interested in overnight stays, camping fees differ based on residency status and the campsite type. Private campsites require a booking fee of TZS 10,000.
Vehicle and Other Fees
– Vehicle Entry: Charges vary based on the vehicle’s capacity, ranging from TZS 400 for less than 6 seats to TZS 5,000 for 45 seats and above.
– Ranger Fees: Game drives exceeding 6 hours incur a fee of TZS 3,000, while shorter drives and full-night camp security have separate fees.
Payment Modes
Entrance fees can be paid in cash (US Dollars or Tanzanian Shillings) at the entry gates. However, for certain areas like the western side of the reserve, specifically the Mara Triangle – Mara Conservancy area, only cashless payments (Visa/Mastercard or Mpesa Mobile Money) are accepted. Cashless options are also available for all other Ruaha National Park gates.
